Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC) is seeking applicants for the following positions. Detailed application instructions are included in the PDF of each description. Click a title below to learn more.

Please note: Filling these positions is contingent upon being awarded funds under the CDC Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) program. If awarded, these will be American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds, and requires compliance with reporting and evaluation requirements specific to the award.

CPPW Program Manager
The program manager will oversee the implementation of community-wide policies, systems and environmental change, along with the tobacco prevention and cessation programs aimed at effecting such changes.

CPPW Grant Manager
The grant manager will be responsible for collecting necessary data to report on progress, performance, financial status and job creation for the Communities Putting Prevention to Work project.

CPPW Policy Coordinator (two positions available)
The policy coordinators will coordinate multiple tobacco control policy activities in Chicago by working with stakeholders including city officials, members of the business and public health communities, and diverse population groups targeted for such outreach.

CPPW School Policy Coordinator
The school policy coordinator will coordinate school-based tobacco control policy activities in cooperation with Chicago Public Schools.

CPPW Program Coordinator (two positions available)
The program coordinators will conduct outreach and provide technical assistance to subcontractors and other organizations, conduct field visits, provide trainings and assist in the development of project protocols and other materials.

CPPW Marketing & Communications Coordinator
The marketing and communications coordinator will collaborate on the development of a comprehensive menu of programs and policy work aiming to decrease tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke in Chicago.
