"Effective
immediately: We will now accept all forms of State ID to issue library
cards! This includes a Temporary Visitor Driver's License and all forms
that include a photo, name, and address.
We want everyone to
be able to access the wealth of resources the Library offers. This
policy change, along with a partnership with the Mayor’s Office of New
Americans and the United States Citizenship Immigration Service
(USCIS) to provide programs, services and resources to residents who are
pursuing citizenship, is meant to better serve communities and provide a
place for civic engagement."
The library offers many great resources including:
- Free WiFi,
- Free access to computer programs like Microsoft Word,
- English as a Second Language classes,
- Citizenship classes,
- Courses to help find a job/write a resume,
- and many other great workshops.
